Are you our new customer service/booking and office assistant at Chow Co, HQ in Indre By, Copenhagen?

Chow Co is an established restaurant chain in Copenhagen. We have a passionate focus on family-style service and fantastic food experiences in a festive atmosphere. With five existing restaurants (Mæxico, Palazzo Diner and Levantin), we are now looking for a structured, service-minded and technically capable booking and office assistant. Please note that the start will be flexible but prefered mid October 2026.

Be aware that it is a requirement to speak and write fluently English in order to be considered for this position.

Your main tasks will include:

Daily administration of bookings for parties and events - including customer contact, planning and coordination.
Answering general enquiries and questions via email and phone - with a focus on friendly and professional customer service.
Optimising and maintaining booking systems and internal booking processes.
Analysing booking data and proposing improvements to the booking flow.
Collaborating with FoH and BoH managers and event leads to ensure a smooth experience for our guests.
Outbound sales/booking.
Supporting the office with various lighter administrative tasks and communication across departments.
Lighter office tasks, such as ordering lunch, emptying the dishwasher and putting the coffee on, clearing meeting space after meetings.
Minor accounting tasks.

Working hours:

30 hours a week. Primarily daytime Monday-Friday between 8:00 to 18:00. As the job involves restaurant operations, evening and weekend work may occur. If you are studying, the working hours may possibly be adjusted. There may be an opportunity for supplementary hours, though with other administrative tasks. Experience with office administration or similar roles, preferably within the restaurant or hotel industry.

Have experience in handling guest enquiries and bookings professionally, efficiently and warmly, and you get real energy out of making someone's evening better.
Have good organisational skills and an eye for detail - you keep track of many tasks, plan and prioritise effectively, and nothing falls between two chairs.
Are proactive and work independently - you see opportunities and act on them, and you follow things through to the end.
Are technically well-grounded - familiar with the Microsoft Office suite and ideally with booking systems and other administrative or CRM systems.
Have strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Fluent English is a requirement; Danish is a plus.
Keep calm when it gets busy - you can handle several tasks at once without losing the warmth.
Have experience with office administration or a similar role within the hospitality industry (Restaurant, hotel, café). It is a plus if you also have experience working front or back of house.
Have a basic understanding of accounting - experience with invoicing and smaller bookkeeping tasks is a plus.
Are open to using AI. You might already experimented with AI tools, you are curious about what they can and cannot do, and you share what works with the rest of the office. You don't need to be technical, just open to having it incoporated in the operation.
Interested in food/beverages is a huge plus.
