Job Description
You will join a team building an ecosystem of AI agents that automate knowledge-intensive workflows, including large-scale content processing and insight generation from diverse data sources.
The solution is built on a modern data platform with a lakehouse architecture, combining agentic GenAI with advanced knowledge-modeling approaches. The architecture is still being shaped — we're looking for a senior engineer who will help shape it: someone tech-agnostic who brings ideas to the table, challenges assumptions, and takes ownership of both decisions and delivery. The GenAI landscape moves fast, and we value engineers who evaluate tools on merit rather than attachment.
Responsibilities
- Take an active role in architectural decisions — propose approaches, challenge trade-offs, and co-own the technical direction with the team
- Design, build, and orchestrate AI agents for data collection, indexing, and market-intelligence use cases — hands-on, end to end
- Develop and maintain data pipelines and lakehouse structures in Databricks
- Contribute to the knowledge-modeling layer, building ontologies that ground agent reasoning
- Integrate agents with Databricks (Genie or custom agent frameworks — architecture still being shaped, and you'll have a voice in it)
- Build robust web scraping and content-indexing components in Python
- Continuously identify and propose improvements — to the architecture, the codebase, and the way the team works
- Collaborate closely with the existing team through brainstorming, design reviews, and delivery
Qualifications
Must Have
- Senior-level engineering experience — you've owned complex technical solutions from design through production, not just implemented tickets
- Strong Python engineering skills
- Hands-on GenAI experience: LLM-based applications, agentic frameworks, prompt/tool orchestration
- Data engineering capability: building pipelines, working with structured and unstructured data
- Databricks experience (lakehouse, notebooks, workflows)
- A builder's mindset paired with senior judgment: comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, arguing for a technical position, and then rolling up your sleeves to ship it
- A tech-agnostic mindset: you choose tools based on the problem, not habit — comfortable evaluating, adopting, and switching between frameworks, agent stacks, and platforms as the architecture evolves
Nice to Have
- Experience with knowledge graphs or ontology-based approaches
- Web scraping / crawling at scale
- Exposure to Databricks Genie or agent frameworks connected to data platforms
- Experience in market-intelligence, competitive-analysis, or content-indexing domains
- Experience shaping architecture in early-stage / greenfield projects
As a people-first organisation, we believe diversity strengthens our teams and drives innovation. All employment decisions are based on merit, skills, and performance, without discriminating based on any personal characteristic. This reinforces our commitment to providing an inclusive and respectful workplace.

Enjoy our holistic benefits program that covers the four pillars that we believe come together to support our wellbeing, covering social, physical, emotional wellbeing, as well as work-life fusion.
- Physical Wellbeing: Our wellbeing program includes medical benefits, gym support, and personalised fitness options for an active lifestyle, complemented by team events and the Healthy Habits Club.
- Work-Life Fusion: In very dynamic industries such as IT, the line between our professional and personal lives can quickly become blurred. Having a one-size-fits-one approach gives us the flexibility to define the work-life dynamic that works for us.
- Emotional Wellbeing: We believe that to maintain our overall health, we need to invest in our mental wellbeing just as much as we do in our physical health, social connections or in achieving work-life balance.
- Social Wellbeing: As a growing community in a hybrid environment, we want to ensure we remain connected not just by the great work we do every day but through our passions and interests.
