Senior Modern Workplace Engineer
At Aceve, we back the builders of society. Founded in the Nordics and growing across Europe, we build digital tools for the people who construct and maintain our physical world - giving electricians, plumbers, and contractors back their time, clarity, and confidence. With over 900 employees across 8 countries, leading brands in 7 customer markets, and more than €100M in revenue, we're on an ambitious growth journey, and we're just getting started. We're an AI-first company, and we work with grit, openness, and a good dose of joy.
THE ROLE
You're the person who makes IT feel invisible — in the best way. When something breaks, you're calm. When there's ambiguity, you build structure. You get genuine satisfaction from making someone's day easier, and you'd rather fix the root cause once than patch the same issue five times.
This role delivers reliable, secure and user-focused IT services across Aceve, combining hands-on technical support with service improvement, endpoint management and identity-related work. You'll work across multiple locations and business units, taking a cloud-first, security-first and automation-first approach — resolving incidents, fulfilling service requests, driving standardisation, and spotting opportunities to automate repetitive work.
Success in this role means users get reliable, timely and professional IT support, while the organisation benefits from a more standardised, secure and manageable workplace environment. You'll help reduce recurring incidents, improve documentation, support automation, and contribute to a modern workplace that's easier to support and better for the people who use it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Day-to-day service delivery
Provide first and second line support for laptops, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, printers, network access and conference room equipment
Manage incidents and service requests through our ITSM system, with clear communication and timely resolution
Support onboarding, changes and offboarding, including account creation, access changes and device preparation
Infrastructure, identity & security
Administer Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID and Intune
Deploy and maintain endpoints via standardised builds and zero-touch deployment
Support security and compliance requirements, including access control, device compliance, patching and conditional access
Continuous improvement
Remove root causes of recurring issues rather than applying repeated fixes
Improve service desk processes, knowledge articles and self-service guidance
Document infrastructure changes and outages, and support root cause analysis
Collaboration & growth
Be a clear, calm point of contact for technical and non-technical users across different countries and business units
Assist with workplace integration for new locations, teams or acquired companies
