Instructional ELA Coach-Grades 6-12_(2026-2027)

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTIONAL ELA COACH: 

Achievers Early College Prep is excited to grow a team of teachers who are committed to continuously improving curriculum and instruction through collaboration. Instructional Coaches are needed to be the catalyst for our teachers to be better at identifying and implementing tools and strategies that improve student outcomes. 

Coaches in this position will have and be able to do the following:

• Demonstrate expert content knowledge in core subjects, such as ELA and Humanities.
• Extensive knowledge of ELA/Humanities interventions that specifically target English skills 
• Analyze data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices regularly. 
• Provide coaching to teachers and are committed to their growth 
• Implement multiple techniques with teachers for increased student engagement and checking for understanding 
• Work with teachers to analyze student data to differentiate instruction and track progress. 
• Ensure consistent, research-based curriculum implementation aligned with standards.
• Conduct daily observations, model and practice with teachers, plan/execut
