Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of SPPM.
Ensure that suppliers solve problems using the 8D methodology or other problem-solving systems.
Ensure supplier certification in accordance with specifications.
Prepare control plans and carry out incoming material inspections according to planning requirements.
Ensure supplier processes for new products and modifications to existing products, and coordinate PPAP activities.
Establish containment areas for non-conforming products or parts.
Ensure BOS procedures are implemented and drive improvements when necessary.
Conduct supplier process and system audits.
Perform fit and assembly trials and follow up on product modifications and/or new product launches.
Manage and validate new equipment, processes, or tools that impact product quality.
CAROL, MEQ, and daily/monthly organizational reporting.
BOS Auditor.
Conduct BOS plant audits: Process Audits, LPAs, and 5S Audits.
Support the implementation of AMS principles.
Monitor scrap levels and manage sewing shop activities.
