HGV Delivery Operative
Job Description
We are looking for an HGV Delivery Operative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering pipe fittings and aggregates to customers and project sites
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Assisting with on-site operations as required
- Maintaining general housekeeping standards within the yard
- Assisting with spot checks in support of the Depot Manager
- Operating HIAB equipment where required
- Supporting grab driver operations when needed
- Ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
Qualifications
Requirements
- Class 2 (Category C) Licence + CPC and digi tachograph
- HIAB experience
- Experience operating a grab vehicle would be advantageous
- Experience within a delivery, yard, or construction environment
- Ability to work safely and effectively both independently and as part of a team
This is a varied, hands-on role combining driving, deliveries, yard duties, and on-site support to ensure the efficient operation of the depot and project sites.
