Senior Software Engineer - Data Platform
The Role
You will own workstreams end to end on the Data Platform team: designing, building, and operating the pipelines and warehouse infrastructure that move healthcare data from source systems into production. This is a senior IC role. You will make defensible architecture decisions, ship them, run them in production, and raise the bar for the engineers around you.
The stack: Snowflake, SQLMesh, Temporal, Python, AWS, Fivetran, and Datadog, organized around a medallion architecture. The problems: high-volume EHR extract infrastructure (Epic Clarity, Athena, ODBC-based sources), core entity modeling shared across every product surface, health-system readiness at enterprise scale, warehouse cost and access governance, and pipeline reliability with real SLAs.
What You Will Do
Own a major platform workstream end to end, from ambiguous requirements through architecture, delivery, and production operation.
Build production-grade pipelines that treat idempotency, late-arriving data, backfills, and failure recovery as first-class concerns.
Design EHR extract infrastructure against Epic Clarity, athenahealth, and ODBC-based sources, working through the data quality and variability that healthcare data brings.
