Job Description
We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting comprehensive land surveys and site assessments for infrastructure and construction projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong technical expertise, and the ability to manage complex surveying operations efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and precision. You will work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure all surveying data aligns with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive land surveys and detailed site assessments for infrastructure and construction projects, utilizing advanced surveying equipment and cutting-edge technology
- Analyze survey data and prepare accurate technical reports, site plans, and comprehensive documentation in compliance with UAE construction standards and regulations
- Operate and maintain surveying instruments, including GPS/GNSS systems, total stations, and drone surveying equipment to capture precise measurements
- Utilize AutoCAD, GIS software, and surveying data analysis tools to create detailed site maps and technical drawings
- Coordinate effectively with civil engineers, project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure surveying data meets project specifications and design requirements
- Perform rigorous quality control checks on all surveying work to maintain precision, accuracy, and organizational standards
- Maintain organized and transparent records of all survey data, measurements, field notes, and project documentation
- Stay current with advancements in surveying technology and industry best practices, including emerging drone and digital surveying applications
- Ensure full compliance with local surveying regulations, safety protocols, environmental requirements, and Abu Dhabi/UAE-specific standards
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior surveying staff and team members
- Manage surveying teams and oversee efficient project execution while adhering to timelines and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges and optimize surveying methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in land surveying with demonstrated expertise in infrastructure, construction, or civil engineering projects
- Valid professional surveying license or certification recognized by UAE authorities (Abu Dhabi Municipality approval or equivalent preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and GIS software for survey data analysis and technical drawing creation
- Strong expertise in GPS/GNSS systems, drone surveying applications, and modern surveying instruments
