Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Mechanical Inspector (Site Supervision) to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee mechanical inspection operations on-site, supervise inspection teams, and ensure all work meets established quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for conducting thorough mechanical inspections, documenting findings, and providing technical leadership to drive operational excellence and compliance.

  • Conduct comprehensive mechanical inspections on construction and industrial sites, identifying defects, non-conformities, and deviations from specifications
  • Supervise and coordinate inspection teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to inspection protocols and timelines
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, analyzing findings and communicating results to project stakeholders and management
  • Ensure all inspection activities comply with applicable UAE regulations, industry standards, and client requirements
  • Perform quality assurance checks on mechanical systems, equipment, and installations to verify proper functionality and safety
  • Maintain organized and accurate inspection records, documentation, and databases for audit and compliance purposes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to inspection team members, fostering professional development and consistent performance standards
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve identified issues and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze inspection data and trends to identify improvement opportunities and recommend process enhancements
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to internal teams and external clients in a professional manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in mechanical inspection within construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors
  • Strong expertise in mechanical systems, equipment, and installation procedures
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical inspection standards, codes, and regulatory requirements applicable to UAE operations
  • Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and data analysis
