We are constantly evolving to remain at the forefront of innovation, and we're on the lookout for talented, dedicated, and passionate individuals to join us. As a Project Manager, you’ll lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver water sector projects from concept to completion, driving projects through feasibility, design, construction support and commissioning. We have over 150 people in the Water Team in Scotland, with offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Inverness. 

We are delivering a diverse and high-impact portfolio of projects that are shaping sustainable and resilient water systems for generations to come.  

We are a Primary Designer on Scottish Water’s SR27 Enterprise. This is a transformational multi-billion-pound programme and will reshape Scotland’s water and wastewater infrastructure from 2027 to 2033 (with potential to extend for another 6 years). Alongside SR27 we are delivering a number of frameworks both direct, and via design and build contractors, to Scottish Water. 

Additionally, we have a strong flood and surface water management team providing complex integrated river and coastal modelling, flood prevention and restoration schemes through a number of frameworks, including Excel Scotland. 

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in line with client and AECOM requirements
• Coordinate project scope, schedule, resources and risks
• Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and project teams
• Support and develop team members, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Manage project commercial performance, including forecasting, costs and cash flow
• Ensure effective contract administration and quality delivery
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers where required
• Support business development through proposals, client engagement and future opportunities
• Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture

About You

• Experience managing projects within consultancy, engineering or infrastructure environments
• Water sector experience desirable
• Knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly PSC
• Proficient in project management and digital collaboration tools
• Experience supporting bids, proposals or business development activities

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, Construction Management or a related discipline
