Job Description

We are hiring a Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E) Business Partner based in either Sydney or Melbourne, to support our business leaders and their teams, across office and field environments on complex, multidisciplinary infrastructure and consulting projects. You will act as a trusted advisor, partnering with leaders to build a proactive SH&E culture, and translate strategy into practical outcomes while collaborating across our Australia–New Zealand (ANZ) network.

Job Description

• Partner with leaders to drive a proactive SH&E culture and provide pragmatic, commercially savvy advice.
• Collegiately develop, consult and implement SH&E programs and initiatives, embedding them into project planning and delivery.
• Lead risk management activities relevant to business lines, including audit and assurance programs, and support incident investigations to identify continuous improvements opportunities.
• Monitor performance trends and convert insights into actionable plans for continuous improvement.
• Champion psychosocial risk management and mental health initiatives, building strong relationships and being a part of the ANZ SHE Team network.

 

Qualifications

The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply, all applications will be considered.  

• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related discipline, plus a recognised NEBOSH or equivalent professional qualification
• Lead Auditor and ICAM Investigator certified, with demonstrated incident investigation and auditing capability focused on actionable outcomes
• Significant experience in a senior SHE business partnering (or similar) role within engineering, infrastructure or professional services
• Proven track record in developing and sustainably implementing health, safety and environmental procedures and initiatives
• Strong understanding of SH&E risk management principles and their practical application in complex environments
