Sales Project Manager
Company Description
Agile IT is a Microsoft AOS-G partner and Cyber AB Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO) built for the Defense Industrial Base. As one of six original AOS-G resellers for GCC High, we help defense contractors meet CMMC compliance and operate securely in Microsoft cloud environments. Our customers build fighter jet components, naval propulsion systems, satellite payloads, and aerospace platforms that support the Department of War. We make sure their Microsoft environments are ready for the job.
We are in a high-growth phase, and we are stacking the team to match. This role sits at the center of how we get DIB clients across the finish line, from first gap assessment through a C3PAO-led Level 2 assessment and the compliance work that follows.
Job Description
Agile IT is looking for a Sales Project Manager to keep our sales pipeline moving, from prospect to qualified lead, through quoting and quote follow-up, and ongoing support work. We need particular focus on helping track and manage post-quote follow-up--that's the point where deals tend to stall today.
You’ll work hand-in-hand with the marketing and sales staff to manage a large body of prospective projects that are constantly changing and evolving. You'll be the person who knows where every opportunity stands, what needs to happen next, and who owns it. You'll keep our CRM data clean, make sure account executives follow up on the right deals at the right time, and see contracts like MSAs and NDAs through to signature. Post signature, you will shepherd the deal through the handoff to delivery and set up the account executives to provide ongoing support and client maintenance. As you learn our systems, you'll look for ways to make the whole process faster and lead the projects that get us there.
This is a fully remote role reporting to Kevin O'Shea, the Sr. Manager of Sales. It suits someone who loves organization, works well on their own, and gets satisfaction from bringing order to a busy pipeline.
What you'll do
- Manage pipeline health. Monitor every open opportunity, spot deals that are stalling, and keep sales workflows running from proposal to close.
- Reporting Trends. Communicate sales trends to marketing, objections, repeat business, changes in customer journey
- Prioritize and assign follow-ups. Review the pipeline regularly and direct account executives to the follow-ups that matter most, then track that they happen.
- Own CRM data quality. Keep records in Autotask and Zoho accurate and up to date, and curate CRM fields and financial data so the team can trust its pipeline reporting.
- Track contracts to completion. Manage MSAs and NDAs from draft to signature, follow up with clients and internal stakeholders, and file executed agreements correctly.
- Analyze and improve the process. Use pipeline data to find bottlenecks, then propose and implement improvements that improve the close rate, shorten the sales cycle or increase overall efficiency.
- Lead special projects. Run assigned projects such as system integrations and vendor work from start to finish.

- The ability to work autonomously and keep work moving with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- [Personality…] A friendly disposition and an unrelentingly positive attitude.
