Wire Harness Technician

Build, fabricate, and inspect high-reliability wire harness and cable assemblies for autonomous programs. Work from engineering drawings and controlled documentation to deliver harnesses that meet spec the first time. A successful entry-level Wire Harness Technician independently builds and inspects harnesses to drawing and IPC/WHMA-A-620 spec with minimal rework, flags ambiguous drawings or missing documentation rather than guessing, and can be trusted to sign off their own work — but escalates any spec conflict, safety concern, or non-standard fix to an engineer or lead rather than deciding it themselves.

Responsibilities

• Cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wire and cable per engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
