Labour & Working Conditions Compliance

§ Monitor and verify compliance of workers with Egyptian Labour Law No. 14 of 2025 and its executive regulations, the Social Insurance and Pensions Law No. 148 of 2019, applicable occupational safety provisions, IFC PS2 / EBRD ESR 2, ILO core conventions and the Employer QHSE Requirements.

§ Plan and conduct regular labour compliance audits and document reviews (employment contracts, personnel files, age and identity verification, working hours and overtime, rest days and leave, wage payment and payslips, minimum wage, deductions, social insurance registration, end-of-service and termination practices)

§ Provide input on the labour and social parts of the Project ESMS. Review the Contractor’s Labour Management Plan, Labor Accommodation Plan, HR policies and procedures, worker Code of Conduct, recruitment and local hiring procedures, and retrenchment/demobilisation plans, and verify their implementation throughout const
