What You’ll Do
As Production Manager, you will lead manufacturing operations across a designated product range, ensuring products are delivered safely, to specification, on time, at the required quality standards and within cost targets. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll provide leadership to Production Team Leaders and their teams, driving operational performance, continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices while supporting the development of a high-performing production function.
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader with a proven track record of managing production operations and delivering results through people. You will be a confident communicator with strong organisational and planning skills, capable of using operational data and KPIs to drive performance improvements. Experience of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and leading teams within a fast-paced production environment is essential.
Bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of passenger vehicle manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Experience working in a complex, customer-focused manufacturing environment.
- Management qualifications such as ILM/IoM Certificate in Management or equivalent.
- IOSH Managing Safely or a similar health and safety qualification.
