This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project professional who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment and enjoys working across multiple functions to ensure projects are delivered on time, to the highest standards, and with a relentless focus on performance.

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects within an assigned Formula 1 car section, managing delivery from concept through to completion. You will work closely with Technical and Operations teams to coordinate resources, manage risks, and ensure critical milestones are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and maintaining project manufacturing plans aligned to programme delivery milestones.

  • Leading regular planning, production and status meetings across multiple departments.

  • Managing work orders and associated activities to support accurate capacity planning and on-time delivery.

  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing recovery plans where required.

  • Providing clear communication and reporting to stakeholders.

  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across project management processes and practices.

  • Supporting health, safety, environmental and inclusion objectives throughout all activities.

About You

We're looking for a highly organised and motivated individual who is comfortable managing competing priorities in a demanding, high-performance environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • A recognised Project Management qualification (PRINCE2 or equivalent).

  • Experience working within Formula 1, motorsport, advanced engineering, automotive, aerospace, or a similarly fast-paced technical environment.

  • A degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Strong project planning and scheduling experience.

  • The ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate project risks.

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Excellent IT and systems skills.

  • A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Personal Attributes

You will be someone who:

  • Has exceptional planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Communicates confidently and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Demonstrates accountability and ownership for project delivery.

  • Maintains a positive, solutions-focused attitude under pressure.

  • Builds strong working relationships across diverse teams.

  • Is adaptable, flexible and eager to embrace new challenges.

  • Upholds the highest professional standards and represents Alpine with pride
