BIM Modeler/Detailer

We’re seeking an experienced BIM Modeler / Electrical Detailer to develop coordinated 3D models and construction drawings for commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on electrical construction experience and advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks. This role works closely with project management, engineering, estimating, prefabrication, and field teams to resolve design conflicts, improve constructability, and deliver accurate, installation-ready models.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and revise detailed BIM models for commercial electrical construction projects.
• Model electrical systems and components, including conduit runs, cable trays, electrical equipment, supports, sleeves, penetrations, and associated installations.
• Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, installation layouts, spool drawings, and prefabrication documentation.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, architectural, and other building systems.
• Review electrical plans, specifications, contracts, and design models to identify discrepancies, design conflicts, and installation challenges.
• Participate in BIM/VDC coordination meetings and work with project stakeholders to resolve clashes and technical issues.
