This role will oversee the estimating process from initial plan review through project handoff, with a focus on drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, commercial flooring, and related interior finish systems. The position will be responsible for detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, subcontractor and vendor pricing, bid preparation, and identifying scope gaps and project risks before submission.

The ideal candidate has strong commercial interior construction estimating experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, flooring, and related interior construction projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine project scope and pricing requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
