Estimator - Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

We’re hiring a Commercial Estimator with direct experience pricing interior construction projects, particularly drywall, metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and flooring. You’ll take ownership of the estimating process, translating construction plans into accurate project costs and competitive bids while coordinating with trade partners and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project pricing for commercial drywall, metal framing, ceiling systems, flooring, and interior build-outs.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, contract documents, and bid revisions to establish quantities and define the full scope of work.
• Calculate material requirements, labor hours, equipment expenses, and subcontractor costs through detailed quantity takeoffs.
• Flag missing scope, drawing conflicts, pricing inconsistencies, and potential budget exposure before bids are finalized.
• Request and review vendor and subcontractor proposals, compare pricing, and confirm all required work is covered.
• Assemble bid submissions with clear pricing breakdowns, scope descriptions, assumptions, exclusions, and alternate options.
• Identify cost-saving approaches and alternative materials or methods without compromising quality or specifications.
• Work with project managers, field personnel, general contractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve scope questions and validate pricing.
