Estimator - Commercial Drywall & Metal Framing

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate and competitive bids for commercial interior construction projects involving drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and commercial flooring.

The Estimator will manage the bidding process from initial invitation through project handoff, including reviewing construction documents, completing detailed quantity takeoffs, obtaining vendor and subcontractor pricing, and preparing complete proposals.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial interior construction estimating, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceiling, and flooring projects.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and bid documents to determine scope and project requirements.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work.
• Solicit, analyze, and level pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, project risks, and potential value engineering opportunities.
• Prepare complete bid proposals, scope summaries, clarifications, exclusions, and pricing documentation.
