Project Engineer - Commercial Electrical Projects

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. Working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, and design teams, this role will help coordinate project documentation, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and day-to-day project execution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who wants to build a long-term career in commercial electrical construction, with hands-on exposure to complex projects and a clear path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles.

Projects may include healthcare, higher education, institutional, manufacturing, industrial, and other complex commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, transmittals, change orders, procurement logs, and other project documentation.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and scopes of work to help identify project requirements and potential issues.
