Project Engineer - Commercial Electrical Projects
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support commercial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout. This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors to coordinate project documentation, procurement, scheduling, cost tracking, and daily operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional looking to grow within the commercial electrical industry, with a clear career path toward Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager positions.
Projects may include healthcare facilities, higher education, institutional buildings, manufacturing facilities, industrial sites, and other complex commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial electrical construction projects.
- Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, transmittals, procurement logs, and other project documentation.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules to identify project requirements and potential issues.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, and internal project stakeholders.
- Monitor material procurement, equipment deliveries, long-lead items, and project milestones.
