Project Manager - Commercial Electrical Construction

We’re seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with a self-performing commercial electrical contractor and a strong background in field operations, project financial management, scheduling, and client relations. This role offers ownership of project execution, with responsibility for delivering work safely, on budget, and according to schedule. Experience with large-scale healthcare, higher education, institutional, or manufacturing projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct commercial electrical projects from initial planning and preconstruction through installation, commissioning, and final closeout.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, workforce planning, cost projections, and overall financial results.
• Establish and update project timelines, coordinating key milestones with field personnel, general contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Track labor productivity, project expenses, billing, cash flow, change orders, and profitability to maintain financial performance.
• Work closely with superintendents, foremen, electricians, subcontractors, suppliers, and general contractors to coordinate daily project activities.
