Software Product Manager - Factory Systems
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Software Product Manager for ArsenalOS will own multiple Factory-touching platforms: software that enables stakeholders such as production managers, manufacturing engineers across disciplines, and automation and controls engineers to map the physical world to a digital one (its locations, work centers, stationed tools, assets, and more) and to execute workflows at the speed we require. These platforms sit within ArsenalOS Connected Factory and will start by unifying how locations, work centers, tools, and assets are modeled across the warehouse management system (WMS), manufacturing execution system (MES), and asset management system (AMS), along with multiple different types of sensor systems, into a seamless operating environment, replacing manual processes with purpose-built systems designed for how Anduril actually builds.
You will build this product from the ground up, from vision through MVP to scaled adoption. You must be able to zoom all the way in to improve how a single user stands up a station or commissions a smart tool, sensor, tester, controller, etc., and zoom all the way out to design the systems, data models, and integrations that connect all manufacturing systems. At Anduril's build rate, every gap between the digital model of the line and its physical reality is where production quietly slows down, and closing that gap is the whole job.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for the Forge Factory, with a clear point of view on the what, why, and why now.
- Build Forge Factory from the ground up: define the vision, scope the MVP, ship it, and iterate based on real user feedback and business outcomes.
- Partner with manufacturing, reliability, and product operations to define and deliver the software that connects their workflows into one coherent operating environment.
- Define the integration strategy between manufacturing systems and adjacent platforms (MES, ERP, AMS & WMS), ensuring the right data flows to the right people at the right time.
- Leverage AI and modern tooling to accelerate product development, from prototyping and requirements generation to building intelligent workflows that surface insights and reduce manual decision-making.
- Establish metrics and feedback loops that tie product work to measurable business outcomes, e.g., time to stand up or reconfigure a production line, line changeover time, asset uptime and utilization, and reduction in manual reconciliation between Forge and the ERP.
- Own prioritization, scope, tradeoff decisions, release planning, and execution quality across a cross-functional engineering team.
- Drive adoption so business teams and external partners actually use what you build, and spend less time fighting software and more time ensuring hardware excellence.
- Work in the open: document decisions, communicate roadmap and tradeoffs clearly, and create durable artifacts that align stakeholders and accelerate execution.
REQUIRED QULIFICATIONS
- 4 - 7+ years of experience in product management building enterprise platforms with high complexity, multiple stakeholders, and cross-organizational dependencies.
- Strong domain knowledge in complex operational environments where many different personas with distinct roles and requirements must be orchestrated.
- Experience building net-new products, taking a product from vision through MVP to scaled adoption.
- Experience building or managing B2B platforms where multiple organizations interact through shared workflows and data exchange.
- Experience defining and shipping software that integrates with adjacent enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, AMS, WMS or internal data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/ML and modern tooling to accelerate product development, from rapid prototyping to intelligent product features.
- You've owned a product end-to-end and can point to the business outcome it drove, not just that it shipped, but what it changed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to operators, engineers, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
- U.S. Person status is required, as this position may need access to export-controlled data.
- Ability to work in-office full time and willingness to travel to operational sites as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, defense, Automation, Auto industry or other high-complexity physical product environments.
- Experience with multi-tenant platforms, and systems that serve internal users with differing access and workflow requirements.
- Comfortable producing mockups, wireframes, or interactive prototypes rapidly, whether through design tools, AI-assisted generation, or code.
