Job Description

A position within the marketing team with a primary focus on event planning, execution, and management (accounting for approximately 70% of the role). Additional responsibilities include supporting communications, social media, marketing materials, and reporting. We are seeking a candidate with stronger skills in event organization and execution than is typically required for generalist marketing roles.

Primary Focus — Events

  • Planning, coordinating, and executing in-person events and webinars from start to finish.
  • End-to-end logistics management: schedules, checklists, setup, materials, transportation, and on-site supervision.
  • Liaising with, obtaining quotes from, and negotiating with vendors.
  • Managing budgets and timelines for each initiative.
  • Measuring post-event results.

Complementary Activities

  • Scheduling, posting, and monitoring social media content.
  • Generating email marketing and newsletter reports.
  • Adapting visual and promotional materials (English to Portuguese) while adhering to brand identity.
  • Managing, purchasing, and restocking marketing materials.
  • Updating reports and spreadsheets across multiple platforms.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related fields.
  • Prior experience with events.
  • Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, and material adaptation).
  • Knowledge of design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized; capable of managing multiple simultaneous tasks and tools.
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on the customer experience.
