Who we are
AppyWay is the UK’s largest kerbside data company and Europe’s leading intelligent kerbside platform, decarbonising cities by empowering local authorities to digitally manage their kerbside and share that data with fleets and drivers.
Our journey began with AppyParking, an app born from the frustration of finding and understanding parking on the streets of London. During the app’s creation, it was clear that cities lacked shareable, machine-readable, standardised parking restriction data. So we built the UK’s largest set of standardised kerbside data, in turn discovering the untapped potential beneath everyone’s feet.
Today, we help cities and drivers across the UK, Europe and now New York City optimise operations and transition to net zero by uniting parking/loading maps, occupancy data, and cashless payments. We’ve now mapped over 50,000km of kerbside, enough to circle the Earth! We’re also co-creators of UK regulations such as the Digital Traffic Regulation Order (D-TRO), helping shape the standards that will bring the UK’s traffic system into the digital age. Our API and standardised D-TRO data, already trusted by councils, will soon help self-driving vehicles know where they can park.
