About the Role
Aptura is looking for Subject Matter Experts from accounting and financial reporting, in practice or in-house, who build reporting packs, consolidations and reconciliations in Excel. You have used AI tools on your own work and been frustrated by the mistakes they make. You will turn that experience into realistic Excel tasks that test how well AI does the work of an Accountant.
Responsibilities
Writing realistic Excel tasks drawn from your own work: extending existing models, fixing broken ones and building from a brief
Working through each task yourself so there is a clear, correct answer
Writing yes-or-no criteria precise enough that a grader can mark any attempt against them
Necessary Qualifications
3+ years in accounting, audit or financial reporting under IFRS or US GAAP, in practice or in-house
Deep hands-on Excel: financial reporting, three-statement checks, purchase accounting, error tracing and pivot tables
Strong written English communication skills.
