Job Description
Job Title: CAE Crash Engineer
We are seeking a CAE Crash Engineer to join our global team, focusing on advanced mechanical FEM simulations for electrical energy storage systems. You will contribute to the early development of new technologies and be responsible for building CAE models, conducting crash simulations, and improving evaluation methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop CAE models for battery packs and modules.
- Perform crash simulations and analyze results.
- Improve evaluation methods and modeling techniques.
- Coordinate internal and external projects with other departments and suppliers.
- Present findings and create technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience with FE crash simulation (automotive industry).
- Proficient in LS-Dyna, Ansa, Meta; Python skills are a plus.
- Experience with lithium-ion battery crash simulations and method development is meritorious.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
