Simulation Engineer

As a Simulation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and validating simulation systems to ensure the success of next-generation automotive technologies. This includes working with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) systems using state-of-the-art tools like dSPACE and National Instruments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain simulation models for automotive applications, including ADAS, and AD.
  • Design and execute test scenarios using HIL and SIL systems to validate hardware and software components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and system architects, to optimize simulation environments.
  • Integrate and configure dSPACE or National Instruments hardware for testing and validation purposes.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback for system improvements.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in simulation, HIL/SIL testing, or automotive systems engineering.
  • Tools Expertise: Proficiency with dSPACE (e.g., ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, MicroAutoBox) and National Instruments (e.g., LabVIEW, VeriStand) platforms.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automotive systems such as ADAS and AD.
  • Programming: Experience with programming languages like MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and a team-oriented mindset.
