Equipment Management Engineer

The Equipment Management Engineer is responsible for supporting the operational readiness, associated documentation packages, logistics, and technical follow‑up of special subsea equipment, related deployment tools and subsea cable laying equipment. The role ensures equipment availability, compliance with governing rules and standards, and smooth coordination between the company’s base, vessels, and offshore teams. The candidate will need to have broad technical knowledge in order to understand the equipment’s technical specifications, manufacturing, and repair/maintenance processes, while being able to plan and schedule related maintenance/repair works.

Responsibilities

Equipment & Vessel Technical Follow‑Up

• Monitor operational status and progress of subsea trenchers, ROVs and related equipment.
• Track vessel spreads’ open issues and corrective actions.
• Support technical troubleshooting by liaising with company’s respective technical experts and offshore teams.
• Conducts on-site checks and measurements.
• Possibility of traveling to employer sites (domestically and globally) as required to implement mobilizations/repairs.

Spares Monitoring & Logistics

• In collaboration with offshore teams, maintain accurate records of spare parts usage and stock levels, to ensure availability of critical components to avoid operational downtime.
