OOG Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Transportation Specialist with proven expertise in Out of Gauge (OOG) cargo to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex logistics operations involving oversized and heavy-lift shipments. The role extends beyond execution, contributing to the planning and delivery of project logistics solutions across complex subsea and offshore operations, ensuring alignment with project timelines, technical requirements, and commercial targets.

Responsibilities

Freight management and implementation

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the transportation of Out of Gauge (OOG) and heavy-lift cargo.
• Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including route surveys, permits, and compliance with international regulations.
• Liaise with carriers, port authorities, customs agents, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze project requirements and develop cost-effective and efficient transport solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all projects handled.

Project Integration

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering Teams, and Procurement to align transportation strategy with project execution.

• Participate in project planning phases (FEED / pre-execution).

Project Ownership

• Support end-to-end project logistics planning, from mobilization
