Procurement Executive (Buyer) - 2 years Contract

Procurement underpins the delivery of Government digital services in the most value-for-money and timely manner. As a Buyer in the Procurement and Contracts Division, you will support assigned divisions by combining reliable execution with contextual judgement — clarifying issues, recommending practical options, and facilitating decisions within established procurement procedures. You will be working on:

• Advising and guiding assigned divisions on procurement processes, clarifying ambiguous or conflicting requirements, and helping resolve operational issues as they arise.
• Executing end-to-end procurement transactions using internal purchase request systems and GeBIZ, including publishing ITQ, RFQ, ITT, and corrigenda notices, retrieving bids, verifying details and approvals, processing awards, and issuing purchase orders.
• Evaluating case-specific circumstances against procurement requirements to safeguard governance, flagging risks and escalating exceptions appropriately.
• Supporting post-award activities using Workday for supplier contract creation, change orders, and purchase order housekeeping where applicable.
