Senior NetSuite Manufacturing Solutions Lead
Midland, Texas | Full-time | On-site with relocation assistance
Help scale the enterprise systems behind next-generation satellite manufacturing.
Join AST SpaceMobile as we expand and optimize the NetSuite platform supporting a rapidly growing and increasingly complex manufacturing operation.
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior NetSuite functional leader to own and advance NetSuite manufacturing and supply chain capabilities across the organization. You will partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse Operations, Engineering, and IT to improve business processes, strengthen platform adoption, and shape the ERP roadmap.
This is more than a traditional support role. You will combine functional ownership, hands-on problem solving, solution design, training, reporting, and continuous improvement to help the business scale. You will also coordinate with technical teams when workflows, SuiteScript, integrations, or complex root-cause analysis are required.
What You'll Own
- NetSuite manufacturing and supply chain processes, including MRP, BOMs and routings, inventory, warehouse operations, and production-related planning.
- The functional roadmap for ERP improvements, automation, reporting, integrations, and user adoption.
- Business partnership across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse Operations, Engineering, and IT.
- Prioritization and resolution of functional issues, enhancement requests, release testing, and process gaps.
- End-user enablement through practical training, documentation, and solutions that improve long-term NetSuite proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the functional owner and trusted advisor for NetSuite ERP and CRM capabilities across multiple business functions.
- Lead solution design and delivery across Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, MRP, BOMs and routings, inventory, and warehouse management.
- Evaluate business challenges, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable NetSuite configurations and process improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement across order-to-cash (O2C), procure-to-pay (P2P), and record-to-report (R2R) processes as they relate to manufacturing operations.
- Design, build, and maintain Saved Searches, operational reports, KPIs, and executive dashboards.
- Provide responsive functional support, identify recurring root causes, and reduce avoidable support demand through better processes and user enablement.
- Act as an escalation point for complex issues and coordinate with technical teams on SuiteScript, workflows, integrations, and data-related troubleshooting.
- Plan and support user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing, and NetSuite release readiness for enhancements and platform changes.
- Develop clear process documentation, job aids, and training for business users and functional support teams.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and communicate recommendations, risks, priorities, and delivery status clearly.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on NetSuite functional experience in an internal business systems, consulting, managed services, or post-implementation environment.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, inventory, warehouse, or related operational processes.
- Strong understanding of ERP business processes and the ability to connect system design decisions to operational outcomes.
- Experience configuring NetSuite and building Saved Searches, reports, dashboards, roles, and permissions.
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, lead requirements discussions, and translate needs into practical solutions.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, training, and customer-service skills.
- Willingness and ability to relocate to and work on-site in Midland, Texas.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite Manufacturing, Advanced Manufacturing, MRP, BOMs and routings, or WMS.
- Experience with NetSuite OneWorld, multi-subsidiary environments, or SuiteSuccess.
- NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, ERP Consultant, or equivalent credentials.
- Exposure to SuiteScript 2.x, workflows, integrations, or the NetSuite data model sufficient to support root-cause discussions with technical teams.
- Experience training users, developing functional documentation, or mentoring junior analysts and consultants.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
