PM&R Doctors (Physiatrist) Nationwide

Responsibilities :

• Physician will report to the Chief Medical Officer for clinical matters and the Hospital Chief Executive Officer or his or her designee for administrative matters.
• Provide professional medical services on a full-time basis to patients of assigned hospital(s). Such services shall include those services which are customarily performed by physicians practicing in the specialty of physical and rehabilitation medicine including, but not limited to rounding and consultations on patients.
• Collaborate with the Facility’s leadership, staff, and other practitioners and consultants to help develop, implement and evaluate patient care policies and procedures that reflect current standards of practice.
• Help Facility to identify, evaluate and address/resolve medical and clinical concerns and issues that affect patient care, medical care or quality of life or are related to the provision of services by physicians and other licensed health care practitioners.
• Evaluation, diagnosis, consultation and management of patients with physical and/or cognitive impairment and disability. Includes the diagnosis and treatment of patients with painful or functionally limiting conditions, the management of co-morbidities and co-impairments, diagnostic and therapeutic injection procedures, electro-diagnostic medicine and emphasis on the prevention of complications of disability from secondary conditions.
