Attain Partners is seeking an experienced Technology Services Technical Lead to lead and expand our Data Services & Analytics Technology Services practice, with primary responsibility for Data Integration, Data Migration, and related technology solutions.

This position combines senior technical leadership, client-facing solution architecture, project delivery management, people leadership, and financial accountability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader who can architect complex enterprise solutions, guide delivery teams, build strong client relationships, and manage the operational and financial performance of the Technology Services practice.

The Technology Services Technical Lead will serve as the primary technical authority across Attain's Integration and Migration offerings, including solutions leveraging Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, Informatica, Snowflake, Azure, Salesforce, and complementary cloud and data technologies. The role requires experience translating business needs into scalable architectures, overseeing complex delivery engagements, and developing reusable methodologies that improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Beyond technical delivery, this individual will be responsible for building a high-performing team, establishing a collaborative and accountable culture, supporting practice growth, and reporting revenue, gross margin, staffing, and delivery performance to DS&A leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technology Strategy & Solution Architecture
  • Serve as the technical leader and solution architect for Attain's Data Integration and Data Migration services.
  • Provide architecture leadership across Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, Informatica, Salesforce, and related enterprise technologies.
  • Lead solution design for complex enterprise integration and migration engagements across Higher Education, Nonprofit, Healthcare, and Commercial clients.
  • Establish technical standards, reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and delivery methodologies.
  • Guide technical decisions related to APIs, data movement, batch and real-time integrations, middleware, ETL/ELT, and cloud technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to Attain's service offerings and technical capabilities.
  • Participate in solution reviews and technical escalations to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  1. Client-Facing Technical Delivery Leadership
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor and primary escalation point for clients throughout project delivery.
  • Act as a Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) and/or Solution Architect on strategic and complex engagements.
  • Lead technical discovery, requirements validation, architecture workshops, and solution design sessions.
  • Oversee integration and migration delivery teams to ensure adherence to scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
  • Manage technical project risks, dependencies, solution decisions, and escalations.
  • Partner with Project Managers, Functional Leads, and client stakeholders to coordinate execution.
  • Establish quality assurance, testing, deployment, cutover, and production support standards.
  • Maintain executive-level client relationships and communicate technical delivery progress, risks, and recommendations.
  1. Integration & Migration Practice Leadership
  • Own the technical direction and delivery execution of Attain's Integration Solutions and Data Migration Solutions offerings.
  • Lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of Boomi, Workato, and MuleSoft implementation capabilities.
  • Define delivery methodologies, reusable integration patterns, migration accelerators, and technical best practices.
  • Establish architecture review and technical governance practices across projects.
  • Promote consistency in solution design, documentation, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Support strategic technology partnerships and participate in partner solution discussions, certifications, and joint client opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand integration, migration, and modernization services within existing client accounts.
  1. Team Leadership, Organizational Structure & Culture
  • Own the organizational structure, technical capabilities, and staffing model for the Technology Services team.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of Solution Architects, Technical Delivery Managers, Integration Developers, Migration Specialists, and Technical Leads.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, innovation, and client service.
  • Define team roles, responsibilities, reporting structures, and career development paths.
  • Establish resource capacity plans aligned with current delivery commitments and future pipeline opportunities.
  • Lead technical recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Identify skill gaps and develop training, certification, and professional development plans.
  • Foster cross-training and technology flexibility across Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, and migration technologies.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the broader DS&A practice.
  1. Financial & Operational Accountability
  • Own and manage the financial and operational performance of the Technology Services practice in partnership with DS&A leadership.
  • Track, analyze, and report practice revenue, gross margin, utilization, resource capacity, and project profitability.
  • Provide regular financial and operational updates to the Managing Director and senior leadership.
  • Monitor project budgets, resource assignments, planned versus actual hours, and delivery economics.
  • Identify risks to project profitability and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop staffing plans that balance delivery quality, resource utilization, and gross margin objectives.
  • Support revenue forecasting, resource planning, and practice-level budgeting.
  • Establish operational metrics and performance dashboards to measure technology delivery effectiveness.
  • Take accountability for both client delivery success and the financial health of the Technology Services portfolio.
  1. Business Development & Practice Growth
  • Partner with DS&A leadership, Account Executives, and Business Development teams to identify and qualify new opportunities.
  • Lead technical solutioning, estimation, and architecture development for proposals, RFPs, and Statements of Work.
  • Develop staffing models, effort estimates, assumptions, and delivery approaches that support profitable engagements.
  • Participate in client presentations, solution demonstrations, and executive discussions.
  • Build repeatable service offerings and technology-specific sales plays across Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft, and Data Migration.
  • Support strategic technology alliances and relationships with vendor partners.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services and account expansion.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology consulting, data integration, data migration, or solution architecture.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical delivery teams, architects, and/or integration practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise architecting and delivering enterprise integrations and complex data migrations.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of at least one major enterprise integration platform, preferably Boomi, Workato, or MuleSoft, with the ability to provide architectural oversight across multiple platforms.
  • Experience managing delivery across multiple concurrent client engagements.
  • Previous experience serving as a Technical Delivery Manager, Solution Architect, Technical Director, or comparable client-facing technical leader.
  • Experience leading technical discovery, solution architecture, delivery planning, and project escalations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical resources, team performance, recruiting, and organizational development.
  • Experience managing project budgets, utilization, gross margin, resource forecasting, and delivery profitability.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, Statements of Work, technical estimates, and client solution presentations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams, client executives, and internal senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior leadership experience within a technology consulting, systems integration, or professional services organization.
  • Boomi Professional Developer/Architect, MuleSoft Architect, Workato Automation Pro, or comparable certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform integrations, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Education Cloud, and Nonprofit Cloud.
  • Experience with Informatica, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud data architectures.
  • Experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within Higher Education, Advancement, Nonprofit, or Healthcare organizations.
  • Experience building or scaling integration and migration consulting capabilities.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data governance, master data management, API management, and data quality solutions.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed and blended onshore/offshore technical teams.
  • Established relationships with enterprise technology partners.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a technical practice leader who can operate equally effectively as an enterprise architect, client-facing delivery executive, and people manager.

This individual must be comfortable leading a client architecture workshop in the morning, managing delivery and staffing challenges in the afternoon, and reviewing revenue, gross margin, and practice growth opportunities with leadership.

Success requires someone who brings strong technical credibility, business acumen, consulting experience, and the ability to build a team that consistently delivers exceptional client outcomes while supporting Attain Partners' long-term growth.

Attain Partners is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The individual base salary for this position is unique to each candidate and will be commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
