In Bulgaria, we are actively seeking a Senior Python Engineer to strengthen our team. The project is in Banking domain.

Note: The position is remote, the type of contract is fixed labor contract(for the duration of the particular project) afterwards it can be extended to a regular permanent employment.


This is you

• Advanced proficiency in Python and FastAPI

• Practical experience with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry

• Working knowledge of Docker and OpenShift

• Experience with GitLab CI and basic CI/CD pipeline configuration

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with Next.js / React

This is your role

• Developing and maintaining AI-powered backend services using Python and FastAPI.

• Designing and implementing REST APIs and integrations supporting the AI solution.

• Integrating and working with Azure AI Services and Azure AI Foundry to support AI-driven capabilities.

• Containerizing applications using Docker and supporting deployments in OpenShift environments.

• Creating and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.

• Collaborating with Front-End developers working with React / Next.js where required.

• Troubleshooting, optimizing, and improving the reliability and performance of backend services.

• Supporting the delivery of an AI solution for banking employees in an enterprise environment.

• Collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
