**AVEVA is creating software trusted by over 90% of leading industrial companies.** **Job Title:** Senior Agile Project Manager **Location:** Madrid, London, Cambridge **Employment Type:** Full-time, Hybrid **Job Purpose** The Senior Agile Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of complex, cross-functional technology projects using Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies. The role ensures projects deliver measurable business value, align with strategic objectives, and are delivered within agreed scope, quality, time, and budget constraints. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Teams, Architects, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders, the Senior Agile Project Manager drives planning, execution, governance, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement whilst promoting Agile principles and practices across the organisation. **Responsibilities** - Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment to business objectives and strategic priorities. - Establish and maintain delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and project controls. - Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily stand-ups where required. - Work with Product Owners to manage and prioritise backlogs, ensuring focus on value-driven outcomes. - Manage project budgets, forecasts, risks, issues, and resource plans. - Drive effective stakeholder engagement and executive communication across business and IT functions. - Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations, Change Management, and external suppliers. - Identify and remove delivery impediments, enabling teams to maintain momentum and achieve objectives. - Ensure governance, reporting, and project financials remain accurate and decision-ready. - Promote continuous improvement and Agile best practices across project teams and stakeholders. - Coach and mentor Project Managers, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, and delivery team members. **Experience Required** - 7–10+ years’ experience delivering complex technology projects in enterprise environments. - Proven experience leading Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery teams. - Experience managing large-scale transformation, digital, ERP, CRM, cloud, or business change initiatives. - Demonstrated success managing project budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. - Experience working with geographically distributed and matrix-managed teams. - Experience managing third-party vendors and delivery partners. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. - Agile certifications (SAFe, Scrum Master, Scrum Practitioner, PMI-ACP or equivalent) desirable. - PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, or equivalent project management qualification desirable. **Knowledge & Skills** - Agile, Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies. - Programme and project planning. - Risk, issue and dependency management. - Executive stakeholder management. - Financial and budget management. - Change management and business adoption. - Supplier and vendor management. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Leadership, facilitation and coaching. - Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence and project portfolio management tools. **UK Benefits include:** Flexible benefits fund, emergency leave days, adoption leave, 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pension, life cover, private medical insurance, parental leave, education assistance program.
