first dedicated IT Workplace Specialist to support us with these tasks in both our offices - in Wiener Neudorf and Vienna. This is a part-time position at 20-30 hours per weekwith the option to extend to full-time if needed/wished in the future. Ideally, you are able to split your time between both offices.Relevant education in the field or equivalent hands-on experience, e.g. Microsoft certifications. 3+ years of IT administration experience with a strong focus on end-user support. Solid Windows client administration skills. Experience with macOS and Linux is a plus. Comfortable with scripting/automation. PowerShell and/or Bash/Python are a plus. Good understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS/DHCP, VLAN/Wi-Fi, VPN/firewalls basics. Structured, reliable, and service-oriented mentality as well as being able to work independently and prioritize effectively. Written and spoken language skills in English and German. - Own day-to-day IT operations for roughly 120 users/endpoints across our local site(s): Microsoft 365, endpoints, and office network infrastructure.
- Administer and continuously improve our Microsoft 365 environment (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams).
- Implement security best practices: MFA/Conditional Access, least privilege, endpoint hardening, patching, and access reviews.
- Handle incidents and service requests efficiently: triage, troubleshooting, documentation, and follow-up to prevent recurrence.
- Roll out and maintain tools and applications, including SaaS tools (packaging, deployment, updates, licensing, access management).
- Support users with device and software setup (primarily Windows 11; also macOS/Linux as needed).
- Occasionally disassemble/reassemble devices for upgrades and repairs.
- Collaborate closely with the central IT team on purchasing, standards, and platform changes.
- Experience with identity and access governance and security operations.
- Experience with blue teaming / SOC environments and tooling, e.g. FleetDM, Wazuh, Greenbone.
- Familiarity with tools like 1Password, Slack, YouTrack, and Claude (or comparable alternatives).
- Interest in e-mobility and battery technology.
