Energy Lawyer

We are currently seeking Energy Lawyers to work with a variety of Axiom clients across the energy, utilities, renewables, infrastructure and wider commercial sectors, supporting a broad range of energy and power matters on flexible in-house engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide practical, business-focused legal advice on energy matters, including power, gas, renewables, utilities, energy projects, low-carbon and wider commercial energy issues.
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of energy documentation, including power purchase agreements, offtake agreements, supply agreements, development agreements, connection agreements and related commercial contracts.
• Support energy transactions and projects, including regulatory matters, project development, commercial arrangements, joint ventures, acquisitions and stakeholder coordination.
• Work closely with legal, regulatory, commercial, trading, procurement, finance, development and business teams to manage legal risk and deliver commercial outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer in the UK or an equivalent jurisdiction with relevant UK energy, utilities or infrastructure experience.
