About the Role
The business operations team at Base is a lean group of generalists who take high-stakes, not-very-defined problems, give them structure, and drive them to completion. As our MBA intern, you'll get a real piece of that work for the summer, not a side project. You'll pick up a defined slice of whatever the team is running right now (today that's the integration of a recent acquisition; it could also be a commercial partnership or a market entry) and drive it to a decision.
What You'll Do
Cover one part of the business for the summer: know its plan, its unit costs, and its tradeoffs better than anyone outside the team.
Own a discrete project inside it end to end — the forecast it runs on, a market or product entry, a workstream in an acquisition integration, or the scoreboard it's missing — and leave b
