Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon to join our staff.

• Salary Range: $650,000 - $800,000
• Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
• Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

• The division is looking for a surgeon with fellowship training in total joint arthroplasty to support the focused service line for hip and knee replacement surgery. Bassett is committed to building a superior center for total joint replacement in the upstate New York region. The position does require participation in general call coverage
• Join an established group of Orthopedic Surgeons and Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC’s)
• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
• General Orthopedic Call Required 1:9 days - Dedicated Hospitalist for weekday coverage, shared call with whole Physician group – APC 1st call system in place
• Joint Replacement Center located at AO Fox Hospital, a 40-bed acute care hospital
• Referral Base of over 150 Primary Care Clinicians
