Air/Hazmat/EPCRA/TSCA Lead

BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.

Position Summary

BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Air/Hazmat/EPCRA/TSCA Lead for BB&E’s work located at Glenn Research Center (GRC), across both Lewis Field (LF) and the Neil Armstrong Test Facility (GRC-ATF).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire air quality program to ensure it operates in accordance with all compliance goals
• Prepare all correspondence and permit applications updates, and waivers in accordance with Federal and state, and/or local regulations
• Maintain and update emission inventory data and sources
• Coordinate with site personnel and testing Contractors to complete stack testing in accordance with regulatory requirements and protocols; review documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Inspect, monitor, and assess sources of air emissions and air pollution control equipment for compliance with Federal, state, and/or local regulations or environmental permit conditions and operational constraints.
• Prepare training materials and con
