Job Description
BB&E is an employee-owned full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team providing technical support to the 341st Civil Engineer Squadron (341 CES) on-site at Malmstrom, AFB, Montana.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Report on status of continuing education requirements in manner prescribed by Contracting Officer
- Knowledge of DoD and AF computer and network standards, policies, and techniques.
- Knowledge of servers and commercial off the shelf/government off the shelf software to identify corrective or preventative actions to ensure optimum performance.
- Knowledge of facility environment and infrastructure to support computer systems (Information Technology/Operational Technology).
- Skills in troubleshooting, recovering, adjusting, modifying, and improving systems to solve conventional problems and provide support that minimizes interruptions in service to customers.
