Job Description
BB&E is an employee-owned, full service civil and environmental engineering and consulting firm, headquartered in Northville, Michigan, which services both the Federal and Industrial sectors throughout the United States. BB&E team members provide Environmental Consulting, Facilities Engineering and Program/Project Management Services to Federal and private sectors.
Position Summary
BB&E is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Engineer to join our team, providing technical support in support of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center Strategic Design and Construction Branch (AFCEC/CFSD) located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA)-Lackland, TX. This position is a remote support position.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical engineering and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support. Conduct design reviews and make recommendations as to corrective action or approval.
- Perform technical reviews of RFIs (potential changes, differing site conditions, etc.). Provide technical reviews of A&E and construction submittals.
- Provide expert analysis and advice to Government Project Managers and stakeholders regarding A&E and construction Contractor deliverables to ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards, to include recommendation for approval or disapproval by the Government (e.g. designs, work plans, work classification, s
