Composites Design Engineer – Advanced Concepts

The Composites Design Engineer will develop detailed composite concepts and definition under senior technical direction. The role supports aircraft development while building methods, evidence, and reusable capability for broader Advanced Systems teams and partners. This position will be based onsite at our South Burlington, VT office location, our Raleigh, NC office. Remote candidates may be considered for a hybrid role, with monthly visits to South Burlington, VT for in person work.
How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Creates laminate and core layouts, ply concepts, local details, joints, producibility features and design documentation
- Coordinate with Senior Composites; Structures Design; Stress; Manufacturing; NDT
- Produce and maintain Composite layouts; ply and core definitions; detail studies; design documentation
