The ideal Systems Engineer candidate has 5+ years of experience with high voltage and/or low voltage electrical power storage, generation, and distribution systems. The ideal candidate has a BS in electrical engineering or another relevant engineering discipline and is a systems engineering guru that understands the critical importance of a clear and unambiguous requirement set. The individual needs to have an in-depth understanding of SAE ARP4754 system development processes and ARP4761 safety assessment processes (or automotive industry equivalents) and needs to have a passion for those activities.
The candidate should be comfortable working with a cross-functional team of Certification Engineers, Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs), Design Engineers, Software Engineers, Electronic Hardware Engineers, Safety Engineers, and other Systems Engineers.
