About the Role
BJAK builds technology products used by millions of users across Southeast Asia. Doit is our regulated investment platform in Malaysia, applying to the Securities Commission for registration as a Recognized Market Operator running an e-Services Platform.
The Head of Operations owns how the platform runs, from investor onboarding through to settlement, records and complaints. You will be the daily operational counterpart to our licensed partners, the stockbroker and fund manager whose products the platform carries, and you will own the reconciliation that keeps doit's records and theirs in agreement. You will report to the Chief Executive of Doit.
What You'll Own
Investor onboarding, from the account opening flow on our platform through to the account opened with the licensed partner, including the customer due diligence doit performs at its end.
Accurate and up to date records of investors, their transactions and the holdings recorded against them.
Daily reconciliation between doit's records and each licensed partner's records, including investigating breaks (differences between the two sets of records), tracking how long each one stays open, and escalating those that
