OVERVIEW
Job Title: Import Customer Service Representative
Location: Bensenville, IL (Chicago) Onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Approximately 8:30 AM–4:30 PM
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000
Total Compensation Package: Salary plus medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) with a 3% employer match. Benefits begin the first of the month following 30 days of service. Training is fully paid.
Employment: Full-Time, W-2 Salaried
Required Experience: Significant customer-facing experience. 3 to 5 years quoting, filing, and auditing customs entries.
ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY:
Our client, a freight forwarding and customs brokerage company, is looking for a detail-oriented Import Customer Service Representative to join a close-knit, collaborative team. You'll get to know your clients' shipping needs inside and out and make sure their import shipments clear customs on time and in compliance.
Day to day, you'll review shipment documentation, process customs entries, and stay in close contact with clients. Training is hands-on: one-on-one time with your supervisor plus shadowing experienced teammates. There is also a clear path to grow into account management or
