Program Duration: January 11 through March 31, 2027 (11.5 weeks). Residents work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch. 

Position Type: Temporary, Non-Exempt, Hourly

Conversion to Full-Time: This is the heart of the program: residents who successfully complete the residency may be eligible to join Bluestaq full-time as an Associate Software Engineer. Full-time offers are contingent on performance and business need.

The Bluestaq Software Engineering Residency Program is an 11.5-week, paid, cohort-based program built around one goal: turning promising early-career developers into full-time Bluestaq Associate Software Engineers. This isn't a coffee-run internship. From week one you'll work real backlog items on the systems our U.S. Space Force customers use every day, guided by a dedicated engineer-mentor, and you'll close out the program by presenting your capstone work directly to Bluestaq engineering leadership.
