Job Description

The EPM department focuses on software tooling development to support embedded products in the XC which including Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Car Multimedia domain. We develop tools that streamline software and system development for technologies such as radar, video, HMI and ultrasonic sensors. Serving global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, we contribute to the advancement of secure, safe, and intelligent mobility solutions.

The SiL Integration Engineer/Expert is responsible for configuring, deploying, integrating, and maintaining ADAS SiL reference implementations in project-specific environments. The role ensures that customer project SiL variants are enabled efficiently, with maximum reuse from the platform, while supporting stakeholders with technical integration, issue resolution, and operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Configure, deploy, and integrate ADAS SiL reference implementations from the platform into project-specific ADAS SiL instances based on stakeholder requirements.  

• Maintain and continuously improve ADAS SiL instances to ensure quality, stability, and alignment with stakeholder needs.  

• Execute quality assurance measures for SiL environments and implementations.  

• Update and adapt SiL implementations according to project and customer requirements.  

• Provide training and user support for project teams using the ADAS SiL setup.  

• Act as the first-level support contact for issue analysis and resolution.  

• Collect and propagate requirements, feedback, and technical demands to relevant development teams.  

• Collaborate directly and on a daily basis with project developers and stakeholders.  

• Execute the defined ADAS SiL TDP integration and deployment processes.  

• Replicate SiL platform integrations into customer project variants and implement project-specific extensions where needed.  

• Maximize reuse of implementations from the platform integration approach, avoiding copy-paste solutions and ensuring that only project-specific interface differences are added on top.  

• Support the SiL takeover of TRIM / Parking platform capabilities into customer projects in a self-organized and solution-oriented manner.  

• Contribute to scalable and efficient workflows for parallel project execution together with platform and customer project teams.  

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• Strong knowledge in SiL product deployment, configuration, and integration.  

• Good understanding of ADAS domain concepts, system architecture, and functional relationships between ADAS stack components.  

• Basic to junior-level knowledge of relevant scenario and map formats, such as:  

• OpenSCENARIO XML  

• OpenSCENARIO DSL  

• OpenDRIVE  

• Lanelet2  

• Basic to junior-level programming skills in:  

• C++  

• Python  

• Basic to junior-level experience with:  

• Bazel, CMake, Conan  

• Git  

• Docker  

• Hands-on mindset for troubleshooting, integration adaptation, and project-specific technical support.
